In the props design, an obvious problem was television used by witch. I designed the TV in the shape of a mirror. The original idea came from Snow White. The mirror is a tool for communication and can also show what the character is doing. Moreover, mirrors are always used as communication tools in some Chinese mythological stories, so I designed that. But for the audience, it is a little difficult to understand. So I adjusted appearance of the TV . Based on feedback from tutorial, I can referred the shape of early Apple computer. l can design it with a square screen and a round outline. Finally, in order to fit the witch’s love for cats, I adjusted the TV into the shape of a cat’s face.
